Jessica Sciarone

Welcome! I am a Political Science PhD Candidate at the University of Washington. I study the political and cultural drivers of extremist mainstreaming. My work bridges international relations, political behavior, security studies, and terrorism studies, focusing on how extremist ideologies spread to mainstream political and cultural discourse. y. Using a qualitative approach, I analyze online communities and social networks to understand and mitigate the impact of extremist ideologies.

I have a Master of Arts in Intelligence and International Security from King's College London, a Master of Science in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.
